Husband and Wife team looking to build buy and hold portfolio

Hello Bigger Pockets.  We have been listening to your podcasts for a long time and love the site.  We have had some minor experience in the past doing a couple of flips but that was years ago and we mixed results.  Now we are further down the road having saved up a good amount of investment capital and are looking to build a rental portfolio slow and steady.  

Jason works full time in the software industry and we also run an Automation/Software Consulting company where we help other businesses run their operations more effectively, efficiently and profitably. This company is the primary source of our investment capital to be used for REI purposes.

We have a house full of children here and are looking to make REI something we can share with the next generations.

We are looking forward to interacting in the forums as they have already been helpful to us.
