Pretty low overall… but so are auto accidents and you see then every day.  

I've learned a lot about my tenants just by watching the Cozy portal - i.e. who sets up all their payments on auto pay, who seems to be on the edge so has to do it manually every month, who pays 5 days early, who pays on the very last possible day, etc.

It’s all done electronically and auto-dispatched with a plumber on 24/7 to fix the issue. 

Maybe you can not even speak because you were hurt in an accident.

(Depending on how you are structured and if you get a personal or commercial umbrella, that excess liability protection can also apply to auto, home, and general business. 

Rentals, on the other hand are sort of like being on auto-pilot... once you own a rental, the money just flows in each month (presuming your tenants pay).  

I can confidently say that we have automated 90% of the process; from communication, to smart lock, check-in/out, message updates, auto responses, pool cleanings, property maintenance, etc.

Three answers for you:1) You are being dialed by an auto-dialer that will dial multiple numbers at once and connect your call as soon as someone on THEIR end is available... but if no one is available, there is no one to talk to you... so it will hold you in silence until someone is available.2) Many newer systems are actually listening for you to say "Hello"... and they won't start their pre-recorded greeting until they hear it.
