Not sure how much of that will apply to Mexico.The best and usually most common solution to this is to find a money partner

People don't usually put up a "Beware of Dog" sign for no reason...they either think there's a potential for a bite - thinking that posting a sign will ease their liability in case of a bite, or animal control has mandated they must have the sign up (usually more than 1 though - here in Wilmington, you must have 4 in plain view) in the case of an animal being deemed potentially dangerous....also they told you outright they are planning on breaking your lease by half a year....may want to get the ball rolling on these folks.  

@Dennis Weber Yes there is usually a 3 year redemption period from when the tax deed is purchased from the state, but from my research I saw that if you have the tax deed, then you can file a Quiet Title lawsuit to clear the title.

Holding on with the hope of recovery is usually a big mistake.

I usually google something like "[state name] statute tenant eviction [or whatever topic I'm researching]".

Usually 3 or 4 roommates will rent under the radar till an unfriendly neighbor turns you in.4.

@Jordan Hamilton,  Usually the decision to go with an entity as opposed to a TIC arrangement is going to hinge on control, financing, and distribution of returns. 

This also loans you for the repairs and you want to add-value while you use them.They usually require you to live there for about 12 months.
