Same guy gave me a bid for cabinets, for my new construction and was $300 cheaper than my last guy AND includes an additional island and I don't have to spray them.The time all that would have taken me and the potential divorce that would have ensued, I'll lose the dollars any day lol.

NYC/Long Island is definitely a good market if you are just aiming at appreciation but hard to get going with just 35k and also if you plan on expanding past one property.

Im also looking for other areas on the island to be potential target areas.

In the midrange, people want more square footage, 2-3 redrooms, open concept and nice kitchens preferrably with a breakfast bar or an island.

In short, the question is: is a landlord in Rhode Island required to provide a post office box or a location to receive mail on the property? 

Hopefully someone can shed some light from experience.I'm in Rhode Island and going to do a 1031 exchange and my accountant needs to obtain a letter of good standing from my state.

@Loren ThomasI'm not sure I understand what argument you could make - Real Estate by definition is land and the stuff attached on or below it.

@Michael BoyerI live very close to the island of Montreal so I am lucky enough to not have to travel more than 30 minutes by public transportation to make it to one of the several universities around the island.
