@Jonathan Johnson my team would be interested in doing a meet up as well, timing is the hard part for us as well do to various projects/travel.

The intention was to stay in the unit for 1 year working remotely with intermittent travel back to California, however, I had a leadership change who no longer supported this arrangement.

I wanted to travel the world, get paid, and not work (don't we all?). 

lets just say i will be traveling in the area in a few weeks, and i had no problem finding rooms for 25-30 nightly with no cleaning fee. how do you make money in  that environment?

We travel a lot for various beer festivals and corporate gigs which has given me an opportunity to see some awesome real estate markets outside of my local area.

If this were were just two months ago or so I'd be trying to get a hold of you with a small handful of options that would smoke that pricing but this type of lending is upside down right now until the bigger HMLs can property assess risk. 

I traveled for basketball back in high school to Eugene (although not Portland lol) and just loved the scenery and all the trees!

My passion would be to use real estate as a tool to allow me to travel the world and do more volunteer work.

I wanted to open the discussion on how landlords with vacant properties can help traveling nurses, respiratory therapist, etc.
