Some companies will combine them and others isssue the Liability as a separate policy.

Do I need to list it as separate business activity -this won't look great, as it will always have a loss - the profit only comes after the purchase!

Hi everyone,I recently purchased the B unit of a two-unit condo association and it has a main house and a separate garage apartment.

Both of us together have no problem affording the new build but separately we can not even with our excellent credit. 

I also posted on DIY forum and that helped give insight on what to do about my shed but no help in finding folks to make the changes or estimate cost.So basically looking for 2 separate contractor needs, would like referrals if you have any.

Or will you be covering that yourself- It's fairly simple to divide the proceeds so you each report them separately, but I am not a CPA and can't advise on the logistics.
