NC will let me get a broker license there without repeating all the edu and work experience required for a new broker there.

Since it is about 3 hours away from where I live I wouldn't be able to visit frequently, so I need something hands off.

If we go this route, we would buy the townhouse as a primary residence, move out after year and get tenants in and then go buy another one to rinse and repeat.

Since the pattern repeats in the next box, its important to manage the installation so that two identical patterns (from separate boxes) don't lay side-by-side.

Once you have a system in place and a good team on the ground, you can repeat the process and grow. 

You can look at some items and generally say that a tile floor will have less frequent cap-ex replacement costs than a carpet floor.  

If it is a project that will likely be repeated, or a series of smaller tasks (such as a tenant move out and prep for next tenant), we will type up the checklist and use the same format over and over.
