Of course, the idea is for it to go up, but between now and and when you do sell, it might go down then up..Since you say that you purchased for the sake of purchasing, probably best to at least sell that second property. 

Of course, it could depend on the neighborhood....you wouldn't want to be the only gravel driveway if every other house has a concrete drive.... :-)
