I know some of you landlords have a weight limit on dogs...for example a "not to exceed 25 pounds" clause.Is this weight limit typically a "CURRENT" weight or is this a eventual full grown weight?

Perils not covered on basic but covered on special would be (some not all):  Theft (important in Detroit), water damage (frozen pipes certainly happen in MI), weight of ice and snow (same), etc.I know of markets that do write special up there, such as Diamond State, Scottsdale, etc, but it's not a low cost policy.

There are effective medical options to prevent or largely lessen risk of the virus and its descendents.  

Just as "good" tenants are worth their weight...bad ones aren't worth their rent. 

Is there anything at all I can do to lessen the chances of intentional damage to the unit??? 

@Martin Thomas if their income is right on the borderline of what you normally accept, then I would more heavily weight their credit.

Not to bring unnecessary emotional baggage to a business thread, but there is a higher weight on my shoulders to take care of a property that my family worked very hard to get, which is why I cam to this site in the first place.

Are management companies worth their weight in gold or is this something many of us should and could do ourselves?  

What carries more weight in court, the lease or the condo association notice?
