My is elderly now and currently  has a 10 single family and small multi-family portfolio so I guess you say he inspired me to to follow his legacy and eventually retire with a comfortable sized REI portfolio like he did.

This is my first post and I'm very happy and proud to be part of such an exciting and inspiring community.I'm looking to invest in rental real estate in the United States, mainly because most markets in Canada are overpriced to high heavens, and finding something cash flow positive is next to impossible.I have around $300k USD in cash and liquid assets that I set apart for this purpose.

I've already fixed the few minor things, so I'd say it's in the kind of shape most middle class or even upper middle class folks would consider "pretty nice," but not awe inspiring.

I switched to Premium awhile ago and haven't spent much/enough time connecting (less than I did on basic account), but ironically I'm much more involved (every day) with investing and frankly, only 1-2 of the leads that have contacted me over the past year have been genuinely involved in real estate investing (beyond a lot of wholesale startups).
