For myself I do not even view applicants as people, they are a collection of facts and data. 

The more agents the firm has, the more rules will be set in place to keep that Brokerage out the ADRE's view, if issues arise with agents not doing business ethically or conflict of interest with their E/O insurance.    

Not sure if I fully understand your situation based on how it was described, sounds like you're trying to buy a property cash then immediately use the equity for a cash out refi?

Recently I've headed a group of newbie Chicago BP   investors that go out every Saturday to view properties and make offers using no money down lines of credit.

@John Napier if they are aggressive and creating issues, you may have issues when you arrive to show the apartment too that could scare away your potential tenants. the way you describe this, you may just be better off waiting till they are out. also have you looked over the apartment?

I view it as too expensive an area to get decent positive cash flow.

I am interesting in buying an apartment complex for around $800K with the view to add value and raise overall worth to around $1M.

Seems as how they are investors themselves and should know where I'm coming from on this from an investors point of view.

If you could change the location of the exterior door by moving it a foot or two to the left, then you could easily use the right wall of the kitchen for built-in storage and still have a clear view of the back door from the living room.I like L shaped and U shaped kitchens.

I will viewing the property tonight - so I'll be sure to keep an eye out for those indicators you mentioned.
