Aloha,Where is the current vent located...ceiling, floor, wall?

I've done things like upgrade electrical amp but was wondering does small ticket items like adding ceiling fans help for when I want to refinance on the property for the future?

We will also need to replace the ceiling, as it has the original drop paper-type ceiling.  

When upstairs is loud down stairs bangs on the ceiling and then upstairs retaliates by being louder.

@Jason Sung we just had an issue like this on a flip, but the water dripped through the kitchen ceiling so we had to make drywall repairs and repaint.

Title III of The JOBS Act is about to have enforcement and rule-making such that the ceiling is raised to $5M from $1M. 

Noise transfer is a big issue and we actually built the unit and spent quite a bit of money on soundproofing, I haven't pulled the trigger yet but we are going to drop an additional ceiling in the bedrooms (downstairs unit has 9'6" ceilings) to try to mitigate more of the noise. 

The walls and ceiling are your main areas for thermal transfer, unless it is raised up off of the ground.

Set your ceiling and stick to it as it is easy to get caught up in the bidding wars of the auction. 

There are drop ceilings on all floors.
