In Florida, this is helpful due to the weather...at no time is the home open to the rain to cause future mold issues, etc. 

Hye @Lucas Pfaff not sure, but I'm gonna give this a bump cause I'm curious what others would say.

I am doing the easy things myself while subbing out the more technical items:electrical main panel and raising the mast to coderoofHVACAnd last but not least we may be ahving to raise the roof of the master bath and replacing the sill plate due to moisture penetration (I will assist in this since I am good following directions...well most of the time really)Drywall cause who really likes that anyways? 

The loan officer and my Agent said peeling paint, no appliances, and ruined floors would cause a no go with the FHA loan.   

It just sounds like it is her, in the middle that has caused the problem. 

Was it due to a leak caused by a problem with the roof?

In hindsight, we allowed ourselves to put too much scope into the renovation, and cost overruns have caused our planned investment amount to balloon to 340k.

The custom housing market is very "hot" right now, thus creating more work for everyone including subs, which ultimately results in companies being spread thin causing labor shortages.

My Credit Score is 689 and rising, went through a divorce that caused some issues, but I don't have any more issues paying everything on time.My Current annual income from my Job is right at 50,000.00I am a single mom with a two year old and a five year oldMy living expenses are covered by the child support that I receive, and I live with my parents currently, so I don't have rent, utilities, or ungodly daycare.  

Can be really cliquy and if you aren't part of the "cool people" can cause you all kinds of problems.
