Look up Rob Gillespie in the Cleveland area (medina) he currently works with several investors from Israel

Also, diversification, such as buying in 2 or 3 markets, or across several different asset classes, can also be of help.I really like Jason Hartman's ideas on this. 

We found several duplexes we were interested in owned by the same individual.

As you mentioned, there are several new construction developments close to Disney that target the vacation rental market.
