By looking at what other raw land has sold for and compare that with the cost of removing the structure from the property should help inform your decision.

First identify and get the property under contract as @Jeremy England says, then before it closes, get your structure set up.

Keep in mind, property taxes (at least in Vegas) are at least partially assessed on the LAND as opposed to the physical structure.

When I pulled the information for the property there are no structures assessed, however there is a very old house on the property (in terrible shape).
