Here you need a permit (6k) which your neighbors get to weigh in on and you have to pay the hotel tax (9% I think).

@Timothy Wilkins costs are very relative depending on site conditions, type of construction, utilities, permits, tap fees etc. best thing is to talk to some GCs that build that type of product.

I can see holes in this logic you could drive a truck through but I also thought it was a neat “outside the box” kind of idea.Lastly, if it’s a bigger job and you’ll definitely be pulling permits, you could go down to the building department and try asking in person who are some companies or contractors for that type of work who have had permits approved recently.

My home has no windows/doors/electricity/plumbing or HVAC and to make matters worse, Lender still owes me money for out of pocket permits that I paid in order to expedite repairs and they agreed to reimburse when renovation is complete.
