I have received messages in the past from insurance companies trying to place their clients on medium-term rentals and a colleague has recently taken on such a tenant.I wonder if insurance companies have departments that arrange rentals for their clients who may need to be out of their homes for fire or other reasons.

Another challenge you're going to have is if you're trying to limit the number of properties in the exchange, you're going to be limited to medium sized units rather than duplexes and quads.

Both are medium grade (modern, contemporary style architecture) construction with a subterranean work required for garages.

Got quoted $85 a square foot for cheapest grade to $125 a square foot to build medium quality with SIPS (all this assuming I've already paid the ~$5k for the demo and the $whatever for surveys, soil tests, etc but not sure if it includes plans.)Since i'm in Florida, am looking at your hurricane proof building too!

Demographics and new construction trends will have a big say over which makes a better investment over the medium term.
