My extended family had an opportunity to purchase it at a healthy discount to tax value from a long time friend/neighbor.

Why is it that given all this information available today that people are less healthy, more depressed and less wealthy?

I'd rather have that money in my hands creating a healthy COC return than have it be subject to the volatility of the stock market, especially considering how fragile our monetary system is right now.

Nothing wrong with keeping that equity in the property while maintaining healthy cash flow levels.I have used 15, 20, and 30 year amortization periods.

I am quite a hothead myself and this tenant was a wimpy 4-/1/2 foot 85 pound Asian, but I actually smiled and asked the tenant when he was going to move.
