Most people who look to real estate for quick cash think flipping or wholesaling will get them there. 99 percent of those will lose the money they put in and then some because they were trying to move too quickly.

But wanted to hear what others think.  

Any flaws in the thinking or process?

In addition, I don't want the mgmt co. to see my leases, as I don't think they have that right or need.

Since the LU spokespeople, though, brag about how the organization looks out for the passive investors, though, you'd think they'd be more dedicated to ensuring that we're not exposed to this type of corruption.I'd never join again, knowing what I do today. 

@Nima MalboubiI personally think that the risk is relatively low with only four units.

What type of HH were you thinking?

I think I need to clear up a definition for you.

I would recommend contacting your local government and requesting a list of properties with back taxes, then start analyzing the areas where you think you can add value.

I think mid-term rentals are a great strategy for a house hack, if you're in a good mid-term rental market.
