I found a multi family building 3 unit 3 stories in my area brooklyn NY region and i seen it boarded up did a lil reseach found out there was a big fire that burnt the 2nd floor up but i use to live there as a child and i know it has great potential when rehabbed but i don't know how much a project like that would be and is it too much if I'm beginner ?

You can't go after their Public assistance payments, Health and disability insurance payments, Worker's compensation, social security, veterans and unemployment benefits.As for Tax Refunds I believe in Connecticut you can only do that for Child Support and even that its a jump through hoops for getting on that.

@Aaron Bonne great question as I am starting out, trying to prioritize goals with a new born and the desire to retire with a certain goal in mind, have my kid(s) attend college, and have the ability to retire earlier than 65. 1000k/month to max out Ira 600/ month on top of Ira to meet retirement min. 600/month for college savings PER CHILD (hopefully max at 2 haha) 1500/month to pay my current mortgageNot sure my wife and I would quit our jobs at this point.
