But the pex piping is a plus in my mind especially in a cold weather climate like CO. 

It could really only be used about 3 months out of the year due to our weather but it was a HUGE selling point.

An Option that is closer to you and affordable is Vegas.. some of the lowest prop tax's in the country no big weather extremes find newer homes and ready rental pool.. with mid term rentals a reality. 

I'd be curious to see what the efficiency of these heat pumps are when the weather gets really cold in NYC.
