Before the ACA that was a real big deterrent for us.  

We can drive by and peek in windows but that's really all we can do visually.

I suppose major plumbing might be a deterrant too, but again, with the right price in the right neighborhood, I'm sure something could get worked out.

Pretty much anything I would need that I have done in the Military I could grab from this binder.I was just visualizing doing that but with the rental houses I plan on buying.

It looks very nice and it really depends on the cabinets/flooring/etc. to be visually appealing.It can be more expensive and the general rule noted above is very accurate that it is essential for higher priced homes.

Tell them that you had some ideas to make the place more visually desirable, but those plans will be put on the back burner, in light of their complaints.  

Wrote this BP blog post today on a useful app for doing quick-and-dirty data visualizations and analysis (one of the visualizations is shown below), inspired by my own efforts analyzing Milford's online sales database, thought this forum might find it interesting.

One more tip, visualize your self walking out of the test place with the document that states you passed the exam.
