People say that the Chinese word for “crisis” is comprised of two Chinese symbols—the first symbol signifies “danger” while the second symbol signifies “opportunity.”

Flashy status symbols come at a cost for those who can't truly afford them.

You can either report yourself ( by clicking on report abuse under your name), or you can PM (private message Josh, he's on your colleague list.And then there's my personal favorite, the @ mention (type the @ symbol and the first 2 or 3 letters of the persons name, then choose them from a list that will come up from your dialogue box...they will get notified you mentioned them)So, hey Joshua Dorkin, Amy B. is having trouble with multiple posts, can you help her delete them?

If you want to tag someone in a post, simply use the @ symbol and then begin typing in their profile name.

As dime a dozen as this breed is, I can't believe anybody considers a pit bull a status symbol.

Looking at credit report (see attached Equifax example), I am unsure what symbol would be placed for that month's payment.  

I don't buy them as status symbols....its my hobby.

We have found that saving money is much easier if you cut back on the big ticket life expenses, the “status symbols.”

I know they're not rich because they make the same as me but they get deep into debt for these status symbols and live like they're rich with both spouses having to work overtime to pay for it all.

I just ask that everyone on BP put up some type of pic besides the stock symbol to help differentiate between everyone.
