Something else people don't know is that technically, for second home loans, you are supposed to occupy the property for more than 180 days.

full transparency, my partner and I got ourselves into trouble last year forgetting to file our local taxes in our new mucipality as we did not realize local taxes needed to be filed as well. we ended up hiring a tax accountant at the very last minute to help (after receiving mailed noticed) and went through all of this trouble for a measly $20 return. at least we got something for it, I suppose. 

Still no power at my place in Galleria but supposed to be restored today and we've been with family that does have power in meantime so lucky for that!! 

The subsequent loans are supposed to have some additional fees or some such, I don't exactly recall...

They have pushed back the closing date 7 times over 7 months including 6 minutes before we were supposed to close today.

My grandfather is dead and my great aunts, that the property was supposed to go to, are in their nursing homes now with dementia and it seems no one (their kids) is interested (or they may just not have the funds) in restoring it.

However, I also do like doing the analysis on my properties so I suppose it is "fun" for me, at least as much as fun as a computer-based task could be.

Some really interesting information I found was he isn't even supposed to be doing business in PA. i dont think hes ever made an honest dollar.
