Hey everyone,I've used this site to look for data over the years and thought it was time to make an introductory post.I'm originally from the Lubbock area (New Home) and joined the military in 2014 and served 8.5 years in the US Navy.

It could still be really profitable, if you're the only game in town and you also can provide food or rent out part of the property for other business purposes, etc.  

I tried to do what Lonnie did about 6 years ago and was served a cease and desist letter from the state and county.

This was a bit of a let down hearing all of this, since there don’t seem to be many duplexes or front houses with in-law suites that would serve the same purpose.Is there something I’m missing?

You will miss the nuance of buyers, you will be offended and prolong the process and end up selling for less than the property is worth.When I buy or sell, I am serving the interest of the other party.
