You do not need to have a license to manage an apartment community.Property management can then be broken down into "annual" property management (normally a unit without furniture), a seasonal rental management (such as 2 weeks to several months up to 6 months) and then vacation rentals (sometimes for the weekend, a week, etc..).Each state has its different rules and licensing for each area of property management (annual, seasonal and vacation) as well as the different areas of management (association, apartment and property).I hope that helps.My understanding is that if you are an EMPLOYEE of the property owner you do not need to have a license; if you provide property management services as your management co owned business or as an independent contractor, then you do need a license.

Purchase properties using a TrustI already have a Revocable Trust setup but it includes my full name in the title of the trust, so this would defeat the purpose of staying anonymous.I could create a new trust with a random name, but I heard the "Trustees" section of the trust also get published to public records.

When I ask for reasons I get cost of living, quality of live, moderate climate, fresh water access, no natural disasters and moving back to where they were from.From what I can see the trend to the Midwest is steadily increasing, but by no means as big as moving south.Your comment "This is an old statistic" Maybe I'm mistaken but they haven't published 2023 - 2024 since 2024 isn't over yet, But, if you have something that covers the country for all of 2024, I'd love to see it.
