I just want to make it work as renting the house will allow me to still save some money.Anyone have similar experience or any tips would be greatly appreciated.

The issue seems to be that apartment owners don't want to be bothered, even though EV charging is an amenity like a tanning booth, pool, deck, hot tub, laundry area or whatever.

Anyone on here have some tips on how to best use LinkedIn? 

@Jay Hinrichsall the questions to ask / vetting tips that @Jonah Gunalda got are really good... but (and with the caveat that i do not invest in syndications) isn't the bottom line that he should KNOW anyone he invests with? 

But ultimately all tenants leave, all debt comes due, and you're going to need to backfill it, so who is that, what pool of tenants could you consider?

I am planning to convert the living room in the property to bedrooms and want to use the garage as common space (have a pool table or a Foosball table, a couch etc).

And no remote,.....well the kids were the remote.. once I used a pool cue as a remote LOL

One tip: don't force yourself to stay in single-family, but sticking with what you know best for now is good.

It's turned into a money pit, but at the same time it's on a beautiful .90 acres with a view of the mountains and a pool that I had remodeled.
