It looks like most of it was painted over and/or given a cosmetic "covering".

People looking for self storage really don't give a **** about the paint or carpets, so you can leave it as is, tear out the carpets, whatever.

@Benjamin SulkaThis one was mostly cosmetic: paint, carpet/floors, light fixtures, trim, landscape clean up, rodent remediation, bathroom vanities in the 1/2 baths, and some of the windows.Rehabbed one unit at the time aside from the windows.

His rehab costs were less than what I Typically pay to paint the interior of one of my rehabs.  

While I lived there, I painted all the walls and replaced the water heater.

The apartments were going to need new carpets (the old ones were very dirty and worn, which is not unusual), painting throughout, and a thorough cleaning.
