Looking for information on what you know about cost as I’m from out of the country...It’s in good shape from 1977 but needs to be reframed insulated and dry walled and then new electrical because right now the whole thing is exposed brick.  

So buying real estate by buying the LLC that owns it exposes you to historical issues. 

@Chanel Anderson If you can get experience while making a little money, you'll be exposing yourself to the real estate world.

If both the housing and stock market experienced a major correction, I would think you would be twice as exposed compared to the investor who owns the property outright.

At this point, I feel paralyzed by the amount of information I was exposed to at the convention.

This leaves about the first 7" of shingle exposed to the wind.

I got exposed to the land business and stuck with that nich my whole career (35 plus years).

We have a property under contract and the inspection came back with the implication that the propane tank is too close to the shop and property line (supposed to be at least 10' from each).

@Pete Budagher- listening to the podcasts is a great way to be exposed to different ways of investing in real estate, and can help you notice which strategy/niche you gravitate to.For example, after listening to many podcasts, reading a lot of books, I noticed that multi-family investing was my 'thing' and I now spend a lot of time on that (networking, learning, etc.).

I know that sounds weird, but the more properties, the more "exposed" you are.
