That said, the spray can, the aerosol spray can, carbonated water, Legos, paper clips, zippers, etc, all came out of Scandinavia.

You will need permanent heat, smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors (if gas heat or other gas appliances).I am assuming it’s currently unfinished.

During those inspections check the fire extinguisher and change the smoke detector and carbon monoxide batteries (Unless they are those 10 year batteries then just test).Personally I would rather have them and have them documented to be working at proper intervals than not have them and experience a loss of life or full loss of property.

But then again, maybe we have; im not a GC.and please believe, i have scowered the net..and im basically a basement waterproofing pro. grading, gutters, drains, steel wall braces, wooden wall braces, carbon straps, etc...you name it, ive read about it.

I was not aware of this activity until they called to notify me of the carbon monoxide detector alarming in the bedroom above the garage.

We also have a section in our lease that covers batteries for smoke detectors / Carbon Monoxide detectors. 

In my opinion anchors and/or carbon fiber straps aren't a real solution.

Safety monitoring - A big concern in basement apartments is Carbon Monoxide.

If you would've told oil companies 50 years ago they could possibly be taxed on carbon emissions they would've laughed you out of the country.
