It would be an adjustable rate starting at current rates about 7%, with rates hopefully coming down through the next year, if I bought a quadplex in Toledo that i'm currently looking at for $380k, it would be grossing me $4250 a month with a payment back to Chase of about $2200, still in the green after insurance, property taxes and management fees, and the money i'm borrowing against will still be invested HOPEFULLY continuing to grow with the current stock market.Anyone ever bought a property with an SBL?

I was not interested at 1.2 mil but became motivated buyer when I could buy it for 800 and get 100k of upside I said sure why not..3. 3 houses 125k closing i put up all the money he had two of them sold for 100k and that closed 5 days after we bought it so basis on the last house is about 25k .. and its on the market for 89k.

With your price point I'd look for a duplex that is 350k or so, but if all you can do is a good house to start, then start there.

My purchasing power can afford me a house down there and I also work in South Jersey (Cherry Hill) and live in central jersey.
