Hi BiggerPockets community,Our group in Bushwick, Brookyln is looking to buy a multifamily property and set it up as a co-op.

If I wanted to transition it to an LTR in the future, my best guess is that I could probably find a tenant for around $1,700-1,800/month without too much issue. 

There are literally thousands of discussions on this topic if you care to research them.

How quickly things rent in certain zip codes vs. others (you can look up days on market for rental units on the local MLS).

Does it make sense to cheap out over the few thousand dollars it will cost to go through a proper escrow and title process?

Im sure there are worse properties out there to start with.

Ski Leases: Looking at the short term rental policies it does not cover leases longer than 30 days, seeing as there is a market for this type of rental what are peoples experience with this for ~4 month terms, and has it worked for summer leases as well.?

If everything goes right I will be able to refinance and will have created 25% equity, or I may end up having to bring $10-20k to the refinance to get the 75% LTV depending on the appraisal, but even if that's the case it's still a great deal.
