For a while we have been disussing about buying a combined holiday and short term rental property in the Orlando area in Florida, and living across the atlantic we hope to find some resources and help here on BP to help us locate and purchase the right property for us.We actually want this property to become our winter getaway house when we get closer to retirement, so we do have a long term plan for this investment.we would be very interested in connecting with local Florida REI's and other foreigners on BP to learn from their experiences in terms of what we need to look at, especially in terms of special rules/regulations, if any, that would apply to foreign investors.
