I vaulted the ceilings and replaced all the electrical, plumbing, and mechanical elements.

It sounds daunting, but sometimes you can lower the floor to get required ceiling height, build out exit windows etc.

After digging into the ceiling of my rental duplex to remunerate some mold, I found that the stackpipe that is supposed to vent to the outside through the roof is actually venting INTO THE CEILING.

We designed the shed-style roof to be south facing for two reasons: 1) It makes the ceilings 22 ft tall, making the space feel huge. 2.)

Need to comply with ceiling height, usually 7 feet but it can vary.  

Additionally, we removed and replaced the sheet rock on the ceilings to provide safety and peace of mind to our new tenants.

The ceiling had to be replaced in spots.

This concerns me and I feel like performing a full rehab could be a bit risky if there is a price ceiling.

Filter changes, including range hood filter cleaning; using caution with pull chain switches in general and especially on ceiling fans; cleaning dryer vent filters, and similar items only take a few seconds to review, and both parties benefit.

With ceilings of about 6'7", we are looking to digout and add at least 4-6 inches, if not 1-2 feet.
