I have long found that other agents in this business don’t have the basic understandings of property law, contracts, and construction that are necessary to truly advise their clients on the purchase of a home.

Should I just use a construction for the entire project or can I buy the home with a mortgage then try to knock down the home and build a new one.

FHA 203K loans will typically require a 203K consultant to overview the project as well. your lender should be able to assist with this.

I have experience working for general contractors as a project manager however I am not sure how much that will translate into the real estate investing side.
