Check your lease, I started with a generic one I drafted online and have added to it over time but mine states "if the premises become totally or partially destroyed during the term of this agreement so that the residents use is seriously impaired owner or resident may terminate immediately upon a 3 day notice.

You have to be an expert at lead, gen, consitent follow up, negotiating with an elderly person sitting on ther couch offering 50% of what it would sell for fixed up hopefully less, estimating repair costs, THEN almost as hard finding a cash buyer who wont rip you off and will actually close (too many poser buyrs and too many unreliable hard money lenders).BTW you might learn on youtube about creative financing, zero down;   "lease optoins", "wholesaleing lease optoins".

I don't know what Texas law says, and again I am not a lawyer and encourage you to seek real legal advice, but it sounds like they destroyed a fence on your property.
