Combine this with market rent being right around $1450 and it's a loss all day long....that is until the mortgage is paid off and it starts to cash flow quite a lot and I just view it as another investment vehicle like a 401k or IRA at that point since I get the cash flow later and the tax write offs now.

I did pay to scope the line when we first inspected it but there are apparently two laterals and they plumber didnt scope the second line as he didn't know that it had multiple laterals.

It was a 5/1 ARM at 5.65% - I didn't know what an ARM was. we split a year later, I bought her out, then for $600 bucks in fees, I moved into a 5/1 ARM at 3.99%.

There is a property I am interested in, and it will be auctioned at the courthouse next tuesday, so I order a title search.It shows only 1 lien for $amount (I don’t know the current balance of the debt), originally taken out by Barack Obama and later the loan was assumed by Donald Trump when he bought the house from Obama.

I lived in it and rented out all of the other 5 bedrooms to my friends and lived free for many years. that is an excellent strategy for a beginner. i did not know what i was doing nor did i realize that that was a good strategy until years later.
