You can not pass any interest in land that you do not own.

@Antoine MartelI have been checking in Chicago Northwest Suburbs and also Joliet and Aurora but at the time that is the ROI after keeping 8% for maintenance, 8% for vacancy, paying the property tax and HOA if it's there.

I remember when I was selling fix and flips at New Western and a large amount of the properties we sold were in the Inland Empire, mostly Eastvale, Fontana, and Ontario.

I am also looking for a reliable contractor to take on some work in Northwest Indiana. 

I still invest in Northwest Indiana.

@Jay GarrisonI just rented one of my SFH in the northwest suburbs two week ago. 

I had them in land trusts with the LLC as beneficial interest.

And most of what I know on this migration into the north-west, I have read in newspapers, which I have committed to my memory, with the Wall Street Journal as best for such info. but the McClatchy newspaper chain (Idaho Statesman) has in past years done stories on this topic, which have not appeared in the Journal.

Some of the houses that I have looked at are in Northwest City and Southeast City.
