To those who self-manage luxury rentals and are not licensed real estate professionals, are you concerned about your listing (listed by owner) attracting scammers?

I have a short list of items needed to move forward such as contract signed, W9, launch ready checklist and I need to be added to the homeowners insurance policy as "other insured". 

And lots of data. 10 million listings worth of data per day to be exact.What is actually happening?

You can use software like propstream or something similar to pull lists of all 2-4 unit properties in your target areas.

Vacasa Guestworks and Evolve have stated their listing process will increase my bookings- Vacasa listing on 30 sites etc.  

Looked through Zillow and sent a list of interesting properties to the realtor that helped me get my second home.

Hi Keith,Each methods of deal sourcing – from door knocking, driving for dollars, direct mails, cold calling, agent sourcing, county lists, auctions to on market- deals – come with advantages/disadvantages but they all work. 

Be on the board, send market reports on sales even if the listing wasn't yours. 

I can't order furniture, set up moving dates, or advertise for roommates.I'm also undecided on whether I should pursue STR/MTR/LTR options. (5 minutes away from groceries, 15 min drive to DT Seattle, <30min bus to DT Seattle)Do you have any advice on what steps I should take leading up to the closing date, which is just 2 weeks away?
