@Isi Nau having just stayed in an Airbnb outside 10m from Waikiki as a guest I’d suggest some of these STRs *should* be shut down: limited egress, blatantly illegal parking that caused $1500 in damage to a rental car, and a race to the bottom in furnishing and services.

In the process of acquiring some properties close to downtown Indianapolis that are furnished and more or less short term rental ready, I have a similar property in Austin that's cashflowing well and is under turnkey management. 

Just wondering if anyone has tried to furnish an MTR/Travel Nurse offering in downtown Honolulu, from a distance.

Once the property was furnished and created a steady 9 months of bookings, we leveraged the property to recapture 60% of the capital invested and a property management company handles all elements of the day-to-day obligations.

@Joe Gee - I haven't run into this yet but I am currently preparing for it, and I will be using both Furnish Finder and AirBnb as my platforms.

Condo came fully furnished, but updated when needed with new beds in guest room, refrigerator, dryer and various other decorated items.

Even as a regular rental I would make a good amount of money over my PITI so I said screw it.What ended up happening was I got it rented as partially furnished with utilities for $2800.

Agreed, unless I was waiting outside with all the furnishings of an STR,  decor and all ready to go on day of close it wouldn’t exactly work out, especially in another state 😆.
