All others responded with either no, yes, or how much.You can always try a mailing campaign and will get similar results, (not necessarily in open rate) but in thought process from the person who owns the property.

Also whenever testing a marketing platform, like your yellow letter campaign it is important to use a broad time frame to accurately track the overall results: 3-6 months is typically a good benchmark.CraigsList can be a great resource but it is often difficult to not get lost amongst all of the other ads.

Here is what to do to make sure it's perfect:Send out a direct mail campaign every week:1) Identify a market and property type2) Send the owners offers (not letters or post cards)*(make sure you do not send offers to property owners with mortgages - there is no room for negotiation on a leveraged property)3) Field the responses you will get from the mailer - there will be tons if you do it correctly.4) Pick the best one.

Personally I would research BP for direct mail threads (theres a lot, just pick one with a lot of responses and go for it) and start a DM campaign.
