I was able to connect with a couple locals in a mastermind I'm in that grew up in Atlanta. 

I grew up there so I may be biased.

Well, I live south of Atlanta, GA so can't provide much current help but I used to work in Holland and grew up in the Hudsonville area.

No offense taken, where I grew up there were no sump pumps or gas fired appliances/boilers etc so I've been learning a ton from my realtor who's my mentor and RE investor himself.

The price for the house isn't too bad considering it's a newly built single family with some nice finishes, but I grew up in the Carson area and north Carson has always been known for having a seedy element to it.

I am currently located with a portfolio in the Iowa City Area but grew up in Hawkeye!

As for buying in the bay or Sacramento areas(I grew up near there and invest there), both areas are super overpriced right now.
