I am drawn to these sorts of low-cost buildings and neighborhoods because I just don't have a ton of capitol or resources to get running - also, I have a lot of student debt (not quite 6 figures, but I'm pushing it).

These teachers, are selling a product, not really teaching.These people are also playing on your desperation, they do not care if you're broke, lost a job, have a sick mother or if you're eating or not.

Well, I took on a mentee/student who lives close by, the only way I'd consider it.Not an accountant or finance type, no prior RE experience but had been good at stock analysis that got noticed by a couple potential investors.I think we have met 3 times, I sent him off with a RE text book with some phone calls and PMs, learning assignments.
