I'm reading blogs, posts, books, listening to Podcasts and watching Youtube videos from seasoned vets to try and soak up as much knowledge as possible.

Working on exam prep videos to "cram" before I leave to go take the test in a couple hours.

I originally came across Bigger Pockets then and signed up but have not posted until now.I declined the Rich Dad offer of a $40,000 training curriculum and chose instead to try my lot with my local REIA.I am currently almost swimming in information from online forums and email posts and training videos.

This last tenant cost me an estimated $6,000 in damage to my ceiling and floors because they let the water run in the kitchen sink or something and it flooded the floor and ripped out the ceiling below and molded the carpet.The police have been dealing with my tenants on a 2-3 times a week basis -- no exaggeration, I have the surveillance video.

I now have more information out on the internet than ever before since adding my profile to BiggerPockets (including a short video intro). 

I am thrilled to be on my way to real estate investing, and really just need the spark to get out of the read-a-book, read-a-book, read-a-post, watch-a-video, attend-a-seminar, read-a-book, read-a-book cycle and get started!

My parents dont approve of me learning real estates,in fact in their eyes i have to be a doctor or they'll kick me out.but i want to learn so much regarding wholesaling I've watch videos and read books on it and i would greatly appreciate it for any tips with wholesaling in nyc.

I can retire this year from the National Guard (part-time years) so I will get penalized if I withdraw my TSP early (I'm 37).

Regardless of whether you believe it, I would check out @Brandon Turner's video on the 50% rule, here.I think the 'quit my job' strategy is much more viable for people actively running flips.
