It's great to meet local investors.I have one SFR in San Francisco (Richmond Dist) that I manage for my parents, one in LA area (Walnut/Rowland Heights), and one condo in Las Vegas.My commercial property is in South San Francisco but it's being used by my business so there's no rental income.I hope to use my earnings from my business to buy and hold more commercial properties and multi family.

Owner occupied part needs to be close to a year or just over to avoid issues claiming owner occupied unless you can show good cause to move out before that.You might get a third party influence, like parents or trusted friend for both of you to address the move NOW issue if it's causing conflict and agreement on the best plan.Don't go after that additional money, stay with the bank loan as that is what you qualify for.
