@Paul DickieIf you open an IRA with that financial institution, you would have to liquidate some of the LLC units and transfer funds back to your IRA custodial account (IRA that owns the LLC), then you can transfer the funds from your current IRA to the newly established IRA.

Most attorneys don't even go there, unless they specialize in finance and/or institutional type lending. 

What do the Experts / Analysts / Financial Institutions Think?

There is actually an institution that claimed/bought undeveloped area 1 1/2 hours south of Yosemite along the only main road to the park itself.

And I do understand the different asset classes quite well, having many years of experience in both institutional and individual asset management.

As long as we can keep the returns slightly below what we need for institutional capital, then it makes a lot of sense, but people wanting insane returns for liquid capital is something that a fund manager can't justify.

Even if we knew that, we wouldn’t be able to guess the lending institutions appetite for lending even more money.We also can’t predict this Federal Reserve, the governments ability to raise debt ceilings and fiscally stimulate the economy, or a miriad of other variables.

There were about 15 people in attendance, 6 from the lending institution that sponsored the event that wasn’t really even local.
