Hi - I have a multifamily in Woburn and am looking to work with a CPA to do my taxes and someone who I can ask tax related questions to. 

Also start going to local REIA events and networking.

I am delving into this real estate business (flipping/wholesaling) and am eager to network and meet people.

There are definitely deals still to be had in this market but it's getting more and more difficult.My suggestion to get started - since you're in Michigan, would be to start building a team (and even fly down to meet with people and network) to build relationships with people rather than just trying to do it all from afar and alone.I don't know anything about the Michigan market, or what you're plan is with investing, but Dallas is definitely a great place to buy, but the numbers still need to make sense.

My primary focus for the Houston RE market are flips and wholesaling.I'm also interested in attending RE meetups and networking sessions if anyone knows of goods meetup dates this is something I'm highly interested in as well.I'm pretty new to the Houston Tx market and would like to know more about knowledge on the area such as up and coming neighborhoods, market trends and general location of the neighborhoods.

My CPA that set up the LLC advises it doesnt matter where I hold the property, I can funnel the rents and pay expenses out of the LLC for tax purposes.
