I am looking for advice from members with experience on moving large amounts of capital into the country in the most cost effective way.

I don't know where exactly this is but there is almost nowhere in the country that you can buy a duplex for $50,000 that won't need at least some repairs up front.

And nothing from that book exists in my country I'm in Australia and none of my banks have lease options or fha loan etc.

I grew up in southern New Jersey but have spent a decent amount of time in different areas and climates of the country.

I do it for Investors around the country frequently.

There have been a lot of reports about rising inventory across the country including Las Vegas and Henderson.

You're in one of my favorite cities in the country!

From my read of the post, it sounds to me like the guy does his own management, is going to be out of the country for a while and wants someone on the ground to watch over things while he's gone.

Real estate is extremely local and what works in one area of the country can be extremely difficult in other areas.
