Depends on the information given, if you are facilitating a sale or lease you're acting as an agent, if you just give info of where a house is and nothing to promote a transaction, then yes, it might be like selling leads or given a list of folks on the welcome wagon who just moved to town.

The topic is I am thinking of offering a retail contracting service in a commercial building I plan on building next to a local lumber yard and I was wanting feedback on that hence "what would a service that found good contractors rated by customers be worth" Sorry you misread Will, I'm not the best typist but I thought it was VERY clear I was not self promoting, again no need for that out here, "no interest" :)
