The buyers lender has asked for a Sworn Statment with a detailed list of all contractors and vendors including contract prices with balances and or paid in full amounts.They state their intentions are to make sure that no contractor can put a lein on the house after the sale.

All, partnerships go in to business with good intentions, rarely does a business go as planned and at some time, one will feel they are getting the short end of the deal, so, it's best to keep things set up so that one partner can leave as cleanly as possible if necessary....so again, talk to your attorney.

I was his only worker setting trusses and running shingles so I was overworked underpaid if paid at all so I walked off the job like I said he texted me saying he’s not paying me because I screwed him over what should I do how do I do a merchant lien do I give him the notice of lien(my boss Which is the sub of the sub of the general contractor) And if they don’t pay me within 15 days or so then I file the lien who do I give the notice of intent to gc ,sub,sub of sub(my boss)

I have zero official documentation only documentation from conversations he and I both had with tenant via text and the signed lease (plus emails between tenant and landlord wherein he states he’s intentionally abandoning the boat and trailer).

@Jaimyn Chang I don't want to speak on behalf of anyone in the post I was referencing, but I think it had more to do with the fact that it's technically mortgage fraud to use gift funds for an investment property; even with the two months of seasoning, if there's no intention on repaying the funds, then it's still technically a gift.
